4. DIY STEP TWO | Place Cooled Damp Towel on Neck

  • After, you apply the aloe gel place your cooled damp towel on the back of your neck. Leave it on your neck for 5 – 20 minutes.
  • Or, if you have a defrosted ice pack — you can use it instead of the damp towel you placed in the fridge.
  • Do not use the ice pack on your neck while frozen. Defrost it first till it cools.
  • Relax while you have the aloe cooling the surface of your skin and the cooled damp towel cooling your inner body heat.
Super Awesome Side Notes:
  • You must cool your skin to reduce heated facial skin. Do this by cooling the back of your neck.
  • Your neck is sensitive to body temps — like the back of your neck. So, stimulating your neck will increase blood circulation.
  • Thus, in the shower, streaming hot water across the back of the neck will warm you up quick. The same effect occurs with cool water.

  • You need to hydrate your skin before cooling. This is how you can lock hydration in your pores and not damage your skin.

4. DIY STEP THREE | Remove Aloe Gel & Towel

  • First, remove the towel from the back of your neck.
  • Next, dampen a cotton pad with toner and use it to remove the aloe gel from your face, instead of cleansing with water. This allows you to leave the skin hydrated.
  • You can use any toner, except clarifying toner for oily skin (because that defeats the purpose of ways to reduce size of pores).
