Beauty Intelligence™
Evidence-Based Beauty & Wellness Research Since 2012
Hi, I’m Aubrey Awayion. For 13 years, I’ve been researching beauty and wellness with one goal: helping you make informed decisions based on evidence, not marketing hype.
Beauty Intelligence™ is my methodology for understanding beauty from the inside out. Since 2012, I’ve researched how inner beauty – whether through faith, purpose, or wellness – creates authentic outer radiance. Queen Esther’s year-long beauty preparation proved what modern science now confirms: transformation begins within. This principle guides everything from my ingredient analysis to K-beauty research.
My scientific foundation includes hands-on medical research experience at a major university hospital, where I specialized in cell culture and cytotoxicity testing – evaluating how chemical compounds affect cellular health. This laboratory background gives me unique insight into how ingredients actually interact with our cells, not just what marketing claims or influencers suggest they do.
My Broadcasting & Cinema degree taught me to question narratives. My M.A.T. focusing on Literature helps me analyze the stories brands tell. After 500+ articles, I’ve learned that true beauty often comes from simple wellness practices, not expensive products.

K-Beauty Analysis
Which Korean beauty trends are backed by science? What’s cultural wisdom vs. marketing?

No, I cover all types of beauty and wellness approaches. I focus on what works based on evidence, whether that’s organic, synthetic, or wellness-based. I believe in honest analysis over ideology. Sometimes a synthetic ingredient is safer and more effective than a natural one.
K-beauty represents interesting innovations and cultural beauty practices worth examining. Korea invests heavily in skincare R&D. However, I approach it critically – not everything from Korea is revolutionary, and I help readers understand what’s genuinely useful versus marketing hype.
I’ve been writing consistently since 2012, before influencer culture existed. I don’t accept sponsorships for my articles. My goal is education, not sales. I want you to buy less but choose better. Most importantly, I cite research and acknowledge when evidence is limited.
Absolutely! While I dive deep into research, I always explain concepts clearly. I believe everyone deserves to understand what they’re putting on their skin. Start with my basic guides, then explore deeper topics as you learn. Beauty Intelligence™ is for everyone who wants to make informed choices.
