1. So you need God’s help?

By acknowledging your need for God’s help, you are ultimately triumphing. Acknowledging the gravity of your circumstance and trusting God (YHWH) as your only source of salvation is a winning attitude. Remember, our Creator will reward those who recognize their own desperate need for Him — He will bring them into the Kingdom of God (Poor, 2022). Now that’s winning!

That being said, to think that one can accomplish something without the power of God is the epitome of foolishness. A fool’s win includes a dose of blessings that bring sorrow and, even worse, God’s judgement. But don’t take my word for it, see the fate of the wicked who thought they were winning in Zechariah 1:7-21 and 5:1-4.

Remember this winning statement from Messiah Yeshua, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

To be meek is to possess inner strength while keeping it in check. Your strength is a mighty force to be reckoned with, but you choose to use your power to uplift and benefit others. So, if your approach is to be meek, then you are winning.

Remember, Yeshua Messiah (aka Christ Jesus of Nazareth) says, Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5.

3. You hunger for righteousness, hmm?

You are winning if you hunger for righteousness. Now, you have good reason for that hunger in today’s ultra wicked + perverse + yucky climate.

Hungering for righteousness means you are so desperate to do the will of God — that it’s the only thing of importance in your life (Poor, 2022). Because of this hunger for righteousness, Yeshua says, “you will be filled, your thirst will be quenched, and your hunger satisfied.” Whoa, winning! (Psst… this type of winning only seems extreme to fools — and you are not a fool, now are you?)

Remember, Yeshua (aka Christ Jesus of Nazareth) says, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied Matthew 5:6.
