1. You live in the past

For starters, you sabotage your success when you live in the past.

For example, you want to pass a test, and you study hard, but you failed in the past. Leaving you to believe you will always fail.

That conviction comes with strong feelings and you will sabotage your success — if you keep dwelling in past mistakes.

In this illustration, your failure to look towards a fabulous future outcome could sabotage your success. To avoid this, use wisdom by forgetting your past and focusing on a better future outcome. Be successful.

2. You have trust issues

Likewise, you can obliterate your success when you have trust issues.

For example, you met new moral, successful people, and they agree to help you succeed, but you distrust them. They gave you no reason to distrust. Yet, you question why they want to help you. You suspect they are deceitful.

In this illustration, your failure to trust could sabotage your ability to be successful. To avoid this, use wisdom and trust but verify — via prayer and seeking truth. Trust others only after a positive verification.

Remember, you can always trust our Heavenly Father. He knows what is best for you. He helps you to be successful.

3. You don’t believe

Even worse, you can wipe out your success when you don’t believe you can be successful.

For example, you know faith is the only way to please our Heavenly Father, but you lack faith, and you don’t believe faith works.

In this illustration, your failure to believe and walk by faith could sabotage your success. To avoid this, pray for clarity about faith. Then believe you can be successful. And start working towards your success goal.

To have success you have to get comfortable with faith. You must overcome being uncomfortable when it looks like you could fail. By believing you will be successful.
