TL: DR A quick post glance:
- Organic soap is… ?
- Castile soaps
- Apple Cider Vinegar soaps
- Oatmeal soaps
Sound bubbly? Okay, Ladies. Let’s start
1. Organic soap is… ?
For starters, let’s define “organic soap”, shall we?
According to Wisegeek.com, organic soaps are soap products prepared with little or no artificial ingredients. Depending on regulations about the branding of products within a country, if a soap product is composed of at least 70% they may market it’s natural ingredients as organic soap.
The organic soaps making my fave list (aka Aubrey’s beauty favorites) have zero, zilch, nada artificial ingredients. Now we have our definition let’s start.

2. Castile soaps
In antiquity, an all-vegetable-based soap (psst… 100% organic) was made in the Castile region of Spain from local olive oil. Hence the name Castile soap.
By the turn of this century, “Castile” had come to mean any vegetable oil-based soap, as distinct from animal (tallow) fat-based soap. “Pure-Castile” is your guarantee the soap you are using is a genuinely ecological and simple soap — not a complex blend of detergents that you cannot read.
Ancient soap makers made Castile soap with olive oil — today soap producers make it with coconut, almond, walnut, castor, or hemp oils (What Is Castile Soap and How Do You Use It?, 2021).
Castile superpowers can be used for the following items:
Body:
- Face
- Hair
- Bath
- Shaving
- Teeth
- Foot Bath
- Clearing Congestion
Household:
- Dishes (hand-washing)
- Laundry
- Mopping
- All-purpose cleaning
- Windows
- Fruit and Veggie Rinse
- Pet washing
- Plant spray for bugs
- Ant spray (not on plants)
This soap makes my beauty favorites list for its luxurious lathering, its super alkalinity (a whopping 8.9 on the pH scale), its organic fragrance, and its moisturizing properties. Not to mention Castile soap’s tons of uses.
At the moment I am indulging in a heavenly honey almond blend of Castile soap.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar soaps
This all-natural soap is as aromatic as a batch of sweet yet spicy apple cider simmering on the stovetop. Soap makers made this aromatic organic soap with apple cider vinegar — used for centuries to help ease skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
My favorite ACV soap has honey to soothe and moisturize. Both the apple cider vinegar and honey combined help balance your skin’s pH level for a clear complexion that glows.
This soap makes my beauty favorites list because of the following superpowers:
- Gives antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral protection
- Removes acne-causing dirt from pores
- Softens and refines dull, rough skin with gentle exfoliation (aka “it makes you glow”)
- Cleanses without stripping skin of natural oils
- Can be used for face and body
- Made with premium, all-natural ingredients for deep nourishment
At the moment I am indulging in both a luscious lavender and sweet honey almond blend of apple cider vinegar body wash.

4. Oatmeal soaps
Last on my beauty favorites list is rich oatmeal soap. For beauty, soap makers know oatmeal for its ability to moisturize, protect and gently cleanse, while correcting the pH of itchy or inflamed skin.
This soap makes my beauty favorites list because of the following superpowers:
- Its anti-inflammatory and an exfoliator
- Corrects the pH of itchy or inflamed skin.
- Gently cleanses and provides deep moisturization
- Can be used for face and body
- Gives antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral protection
At the moment I am indulging in a luxe almond blend of organic oatmeal soap. The smell is light and pleasant — and it makes my skin feel deeply moisturized.
